This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.m2-retail.eu.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Currency Converter

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

B: “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps;

C: “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site. 
Such pixels, analytics and advertising tracking scripts will be fully blocked by our Consentik system before you grant corresponding cookie consent.


Cookie Consent Management System
We adopt the paid version of Consentik as our official cookie consent management platform. This system automatically scans all pages of our website to identify all tracking scripts, and automatically blocks analytics and marketing tracking tools before visitors provide explicit consent. You can adjust or withdraw your cookie authorization at any time through the permanent "Cookie Settings" entry in the website footer.


Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers ), email address and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about both Device Information and Order Information.

By using our website, you agree that your IP address may be processed for automatic local currency conversion based on our legitimate business interest of displaying regionally appropriate pricing. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.

The above cookie explanation only covers data processing rules for our currency conversion feature. To fully comply with GDPR regulations, we have deployed an independent cookie consent system covering all website tracking tools such as analytics and advertising pixels. HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
We process your personal data under the following lawful bases in compliance with GDPR Article 6:
1. Contract Performance: Processing order information (name, shipping/billing address, payment data) to fulfill purchase contracts and deliver ordered goods.

International Data
Transfers Your personal data may be transferred and processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including servers operated by Shopify, Google and Meta located in the United States. We ensure all cross-border data transfers comply with GDPR by relying on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, which provide adequate data protection safeguards for EU residents’ personal information.

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you, solely if you opt into Marketing cookies via our consent banner. DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
